Well there you have it folks....the easterlies dropped off, the breeze came in and it was all good.
Thirty kiters jumped on board the bus, strapped in & took off, only to invade Swanbourne beach. We rigged up, launched & took off on what was a fine 18kts. Within a few minutes the fleet was stretched out and up the coast and it was a spendid sight to behold - 30 kites all heading north...without delay, the breeze picked up and so did the fleet.
By the time we all got to Brighton, the breeze was a solid 21-23kts and everyone was relieved, thirsty & somewhat keen on the obligatory sausage sizzle (thank you Pat for being ground crew/back up/sausage sizzler extraordinaire...

It was an entirely sensational way to spend a great day...thanks to all for coming down & sharing in the fun.
