I don't remember many pure surfing photo's with that much spray - correct me if i'm wrong but Keahi's really using the kite there to his advantage... Thats why we use a kite...
Of course he is using the kite cause the waves in these pics are fickle pieces of turg. Those waves are so ordinary they could be in Perth, even the esky lids wouldn't bother with em.
That's why kiting rocks - take ordinary conditions and make em fun!
