I remember a year back seeing the school that usually teaches at Mullaz down at some beach near the Dawesville Cut, on the estuary side North of the cut. Had a little grassed area for rigging and launching, and looked like nice, protected wakestyle water...

What is this spot called and what winds does it work on?

I live and kite in mandurah and have no idea what you are talking about? Oh hang on north side yeh I do now. Not worth the drive really, gusty as crap, trees have been grown, kites get smashed. if you do, wear booties as the crabs love human toes for lunch...

Yes the bodies in the mandurah Estuary would be easten quickly by the crabs and unusually large blowfish (never quite worked that out - might be the plastic chemical plant further up the estuary, but I only thought the problem was the crude acidic like smell in gave out on a south westerely in the afternoon, might be onto something here).

Attention all Teuros, this spot sucks and everything above is bollocks.. so stay in the eastern states.. there is no wind in WA - it's all a marketing ploy to get your money and your hot teuro girlfriends here.

Stay over east where almost everyone has a kiwi accent (saves having to actually go to NZ), everything is cheaper and folks froth at 12-15 kts.

No seriously. WA is the best place in the world to kitesurf and windsurf. The wind blows nearly 24/7 constant 20-25 knots. Great for learning and progressing and there are lots of locals who will be glad to launch and land your kite anytime.

East and south east does not get any wind, especially Victoria , if it's windy it blows about 12-15 knots maybe once a month, the water is cold and full of dog s**t and sharks. So why bother. Google that secret beach the're talking about and have fun.
