O that good, a downwinder will not be out of the question then

Can you get there from melbourne or does it require going to hobart first?

Looks like nice beaches on the east coast, but I assume the winds will be from the west?

^^^ i think the only heats are in the boat races...

The ducks are a Tassie institution. Basically just a group of friends getting together, going hard during the day and chilling at night. No winners - or rather "everyone's a winner"

El Predidente Grande Poobah, Ando's keen for the Kiwi Ducks Nuts Bro to happen for next year too haha!

Plenty prizes, trophies, live entertainment and bbq's on offer, anyone big on waves should definitely put the Wave Hunting Ducks Nuts on their calendar with permanent marker...

1. statewide series, there's 4 events so pick your downwinder launch location and landing carefully - fart and you could end up in new zealand

2. oh yeah, yes, no good on the east coast, no good at all, better off staying in perth to catch the doctor...

Oh yeah the Cheesy Ducks Nuts!!! I think its actually cheaper getting there from melbourne. For more info check out http://www.discovertasmania.com/travel_information/flying_to_tasmania/flying_to_king_island

If its anything like flying to Flinders, there'll be a small plane operator that would get you there for a few hundred return, and the more serious operators with slightly bigger engines (2 or more) like REX.
