I can't really see it properly, I presume they only have one strap at the back of the board?? Not a bad idea...

Watching a windsurfing 'how to tack' video might help

It's basically the same thing, just we dodge the mast

There is many well produced and explained windsurfing tacking vids, might help if there is a lack of kiting ones, just a cross-over technique from another sport

I didn't know kites could tack, saves heaps of upwind space

Darryl F - don't see why you'd only have one strap, think it'd be two like normal

Yeh, when I look at it I see both front and back straps - just they only mention what to do with the back one

I've been doing a variation on that which cuts out the body rotation, as the kite is about to make you weightless and you have almost no more forward momentum, carve the back of the board out till the fins cavitate and dance around on the deck till it's facing back the other way. dive kite and ride again.

that method looks heaps easier, but when I get one of these right, it is heaps quicker.
