Did I miss something Dave? You said "I just went out at Caloundra Bar on my 10m C4." So
you went out but I sence in your comment that I shouldn't have because it wasn't safe? If I'm not mistaken Golden Beach on an outgoing tide in 30 Knot SE is less power (wind in the same direction as the tide)therefore much safer to kite in? No prob's keeping upwind btw because of the wind speed. I'm just asking because I may have missed something that I need to know with kitesurfing that I am not aware of, safety speaking that is. I checked the wind speed at Golden Beach just before I riged up and it was showing between 20-25knots, maybe in the gusts I'm guessing 30+. I was useing a 10m Cab 09 switchblade and at times I need to power it up.

Cheers Marcus

Golden Beach on an outgoing tide in 30 Knot SE??
hmmmm
There was a reason noone went out today. Gusts were 10 knot over wind speed and conditions weren't safe

Even superloop Evan said no...
I think there's a moral there.
