so kp; if a board sprays and moves a lot of water it must have lots of "power and bite." ?????

Looks like Josh's board has about 5 times more power and bite than the new Undergounds.

i,m riding a 07 flx 142... theyre great for carving...

99% sure he is flying the 07 Torch, thats what he was on when he was at the mambo last year.
I agree the 07 boards were very good, and now that I have ridden the 08's they are a lot better, really amazing tracking through chop, can be ridden faster and can carve very tight turns with lots of speed and power. They are easy to land too, seem to soften the landing and bite or get an edge better/quicker than anything I have ridden, grab a demo on one sometime.

"On the Saturday afternoon, in mid low tide, on the inner channel closest to the eastern shore where you drive onto the sand spit, I was hitting some serious speed, the water flying off my board was landing a good 30 feet behind me. I was lying almost parallel to the water, 12M SB3, 132 x 39 Underground FLX, 40mm fins, and from my previous experience in going fast in buggies and on the water I was doing high 30's to 40+ knots.
The rooster tails thrown off my board were noticed by a lot of people, but I was a long way downwind from all the other sailboarders and in a different chanel."

I'm pretty sure that your spray must have been as impressive, just wish I had a photo of it

cheers steve... but dont mean to be a waNNkr here but the kite looks like it has smartloop trim system near the chicken loop... thats why i was thinken a naish sigma... reason 4 me sayen this is that hes turning so hard... that it seems something conducive to a 20 mtr line naish kite... but yeah most naish kites have 20 mtr lines.. so i,m guessing


i could be heading to stinky Sydney soon for work so might have to demo one of thoes 08 undergrounds.. it,d be good to see the difference.. an if i,m impressed i might even buy one... if youre lucky he he he...

That photo of aaron is so good not only showing the depth of drive but also his nonchalant style reminds me of some water i have thrown up on a single ski but really-does anyone recognize the stresses required to drive up 100 litres or more of water.

As a novice I was proud of this spray during a recent session.
The sloth is getting around with his new camera keeping the locals happy with some nice pic's at the moment. Keep it up and cheers.
