"On the Saturday afternoon, in mid low tide, on the inner channel closest to the eastern shore where you drive onto the sand spit, I was hitting some serious speed, the water flying off my board was landing a good 30 feet behind me. I was lying almost parallel to the water, 12M SB3, 132 x 39 Underground FLX, 40mm fins, and from my previous experience in going fast in buggies and on the water I was doing high 30's to 40+ knots.
The rooster tails thrown off my board were noticed by a lot of people, but I was a long way downwind from all the other sailboarders and in a different chanel."
I'm pretty sure that your spray must have been as impressive, just wish I had a photo of it
