Frustrating that the video doesn't actually show the wipeout, imagine it was HEAVY.

I thought the board dangling from the lip he was embedded in was the wipeout?

Maybe, you cant see it, I bet he made the step, and due to loss of gravity, he tried a bottom turn to early with no edge on his board, smash, neck injury

or he treid a bottom tur on the step and got handled.

Only my opinion after surfing the box, and the womb for many years down South of WA. you have to be milllimeter perfect or its hero to Zero.
