Check out this great rescue - this is pretty impressive

The next issue of KBM has a sequence of how to do this on when you tow your mate on his board

VERY impressive. Especially as he takes one on the head at first effort, still as casual as ever getting back up before the next wave. Great riding in, looked like he was dragging a cape!

decent rescue, almost forgot the golden rule of being in the waves and took his eye off for a min! Could have been his girlfriend, def a chick!

I had to tow Ewan back a km or 2 on his wakeboard in Dahkla after his kite ripped in half on a failed trick attempt. I think it's actually pretty easy if your on a surfboard, more people should learn how to do this.

Infact more people should learn how to drag a loose kite in, not many people can do it.

Good effort, that was unreal. I agree, I'd love to know what is the safest way to pick a stray kite up and bring it in. It's hard enough picking a board up at times.

Don´t think that is as easy as it looks like Rowdy. Serious skills required, well done!

As anewbykitesurfer I'm impressed with his kite and board skills, but as a 30 year wave sailor I thought that it took a lot of composure to leave the guy and come back and try again when the wave peaked up. It would have been very easy for him to also get schlacked and make it all worse.

I am not sure I would have been able to do to that rescue on my windsurf kit.

Respect.
