Sorry, No inspirational words this time...

To the Dumb Arse MF who landed your kite N Lines nearly on top of two littlie kids riding with trainer wheels at PELICAN POINT W.A today.

What the Fark was goin through your thick skull to do that !!! I was standing with kite up right next to you and you could clearly see the family allready walking past the landing area on the footpath

Their parents had that shock jaw drop look on their face too. Be happy in knowing that I'll be the guy holding you down while their Dad beats the living sh#t for brains out of you Dhead - should you hit anyone.

keep in mind that back in the day the instruction pamphlet included with some kites recommended launching unhooked because you could engage the flagging option immediatly. obviouslly not the best idea these days but if he had not had lesson, grabbed an old kite that would have been all he knew. I'm not condoning his actions, just playing devils advocate.

twas only a few years back that being unhooked and walking into the water then hooking up, was a way it was taught at an iko certified kite school.

so............ it is safer that way, unfortunately not safer compared to the new kites, but back then it was and still is when learning on old school c kites ..

give kite colour, make, model and a general description of what he looked like as it takes 3 or so incidents before someone confronts them. I like feeling all authoritarian and **** when I tell people that they are idiots who will get people hurt and everyone banned so dob em in (joking, but seriously someone has to do it). I start kiting on the 14th so maybe someone else can start doing this until then.

Phone photo will fix the next Kiteing Retard I come across !!

The thing that will cause the ban is the people that continue to ignore the wild life preserve markers when they know better. We're only allowed to kite there because of the negotiated agreement to stay out of the marked zone, if people ignore it - regardless of whether you think scaring the wildlife is nonsense - a ban there is inevitable.

And if anybody bothered to read the WAKSA location guide they'd know that spot is recommended for experienced kiters only, there shouldn't be any noobs there in the first place.
