Hi All,

This is the event were we all and up as WINNERS!
Santa's downwinder is there for the fun only. Dress up as a Santa, make your kite look like a Christmas tree and your board like the santa's sled. Be creative!!
Come and join the biggest, most crazy downwinder ever!

To join you just have to show up at one of the start points IT IS FREE! Use this link www.facebook.com/events/147288548655318/ so we can see how much people are feeling like having a crazy funny santa downwinder!

The plan is to start at Leighton and end at Trigg. Points were you can hook up with us are: Cottesloe, Citybeach, Scarbourogh. We are trying to get some sponsors for some food and drink along the way so we can stop and go at all spots!
Plan for now is start around noon on sunday the 19th December! Will keep you up to date!!

Seabreeze is going to help us promote this event and we want to get as much positive exposure as possible from newspapers, forums, etc.. So if you would like to help out and make this the biggest Santa run ever ;-)

Any questions just sent me a mail.

Hope your all joining this event for the love of our sport

Sounds like an awesome idea.
Suggest you contact WAKSA.
Apart from all the help you will get it will make the event safe & legit.
This is just the sort of thing WAKSA asks it members to come up with. The c'tee guys cant be expected to do everything thats possible BUT it will always be there to help make it progress kiting.
As soon as its not a free-for-all potential disaster I'll be in for sure.

Hi All,
Wind forecast looks crap!! We need to keep our fingers crossed for some wind. So the plans is keep an eye out what the wind is doing if it kicks in we go for it even on 12 knots is it a downwinder bring your biggest boards and kites... Make sure you have a car at Trigg!!!!
First possible start 13.00 latest possibility 15.30. Our crew is going to get a beer on the way at scarbourogh and do dinner after at Little creatures! Feel free to follow the good example!
If we go please respect al local rules on the beaches along the way If your not sure what they are ask me or anybody that might know!
Hope to see you all in windy conditions santa's

Merry Christmas to you all!!

William
