Wouldn't a hooked in S-Bend just be called a front roll?

Essentially, S-Bends are unhooked front rolls (therefore, you must be unhooked). To do it 'properly' your body should be horizontal through the roll - not up and down or inclined like a hooked in front roll.

So you could work on doing really powered front rolls, but still wouldn't be an s-bend.

I thought you had to be laid out for it to be a s-bend. I.e. straight legs.

Yep, body horizontal like a raley, then roll over with your leading shoulder

Do you guys look over back shoulder to initiate the rotation or drop front shoulder like for a front roll?

a real man would also throw in a board off while horizontal sorta like what sk8ters call a christ air and feel free to do it hooked in this is actually more ballzi coz if you stuff up you cant just let go of the bar and have your cute little fith line save you like all the wanna be wakeboarders that cant get a boat so they call kiteboarding, "wakestyle" be a man and wear a seat harrness and dont be fooled into unhooking if you dont belive me check youtube all the best kite crashes are people who are hooked in. what would you rather your mates see, you try an s bend dont make it and your kite just comes down like a feather or you try an s bend hooked in while in full boooost mode chuck in a board off dont make it get your butt handed to you while you slap the water only to look up and see your mates cheering like you just rode the toughest bull in mexico and caught it all on film for everyone on youtube to see. you go son!

i'm sure sir rowdi will agree

Ok I'm sure we've been over this B4 but a proper S bend is a FULLY extentended Raley (Unhooked) with a laid out frontroll. A good S bend is where your board and feet are over your body while going thro the rotation. Watch the cable guys do it
