I lent by twin tip to a mate, he goes to Kurnell, lets it wash up against the rocks chipping the edges of the board in 17 different places badly which separates the bottom layer of the board in some places, then goes out in the surf the next day and de laminates the top 1/4 of the board. Hands bar a board that had only been used once and says I don't know what happened, it just de-laminated.

So my questions are:

1) Anyone know how to repair a twin tip or a company that does?

2) Should I hold a grudge? or go postal?

Two rules of lending stuff:

1 They bust it they buy it

2 They fugk it they fix it

If there is any hope of saving it, I'd say your local boardshaper will be able to do it. They are probably the most experianced with the forces and materials.

And you have a ****ty mate. They have bank transfers i the US too. What a prick.

The chips are wear and tear and you would probably have to cope it sweet but since he actually delaminated the deck and not fix it

Iam with harry and sammy you still call him mate . Rule #1 dont lend (unless you dont want it back) rule #2 follow rule#1 . Mates are good rules like bigwavedaves are good too . What happens if it gets lost a sea (answer would be sorry and then bolt)

Expoxy resen and some big concret blocks . Fill it between the delamation with resen from boat shop bunnings then put a heap of weight on it and let sit for 2 days too make sure glue has gone off as for out side chips fill them up too(not at same time as delamition) and put thin hard plastic over it when dry rip plastic off to a smooth hard non chip surface (no sanding needed) . Or a good board shaper will sort it out pretty quick .

1. Its a new board, he should be paying you for it.
2. You are a wuss for not insisting he pay up.
3. Gear is cheap in US, you should reasonably expect a package in the mail.

Make him pay man. I lend my board out to my bro and mate and they would fix anything. What goes around comes around. Next will be him against the rocks kite looping badly everyone stand back and say i told ya so ya cheap prick.
