Hello all,

I've got a weekend in the region and will need to fly in and fly out of Vietnam or Thailand for the weekend. Really keen to turn up, hire the gear and do some kiting.

Criteria are: Reliable wind, modern gear, a little bit of backup would be good also. I don't really care about the night life or good eating etc. but if that happens, great.

Any recommendations?

Or can anyone recommend these guys:

Cheers.

Forecast is looking good for Rayong on Sunday, little light on Saturday.

Check out Rayong Kiteboarding. They have nice private beach, and one of the only spots you can sail in SW monsoon.

3hr drive fom BKK.

Not sure on current wind forecast for the region but I had a good week (April) at Hua Hin 3hrs Sth of BKK, met Eran at KBA (Kiteboarding Asia) hell of a nice bloke, they have gear, storage, air on the beach etc... very welcoming - just a bit of a hike from BKK for a weekend ... local area is well established so plenty of choice for eating out and night life etc......

Aye... I've booked flights (before realising it's going to be raining all the time). Anyway, anyone going to be Phuket weekend 22/23rd June?
