Hi, I am heading over to El Gouna in April and would like to know any recommendations for accommodation/hostels and also where to go to higher equipment and 1 on 1 couching... :) Thanks
Moevenpick Foresure: have their own kite club and kite instructors.... Beautiful lagoon and great down winders when we were there the guys set up your kite ready for you to just launch!!!
Wouldn't bother with M?venpick anyways, rubbish launch and kite spot is rocky and sketchy wind 9 out of 10 days. Consider Captains Inn or Ali Parsha Hotel both cheap hotels and in habour 2. And there are 3 main kite schools only a cheap yuk yuk ride away. Id recommend Kiteboard club, cleanest and friendliest club in El Gouna.
Also great selection of upwind flat water spots and not as much carols and rocks in front of the club.
PM me if you want any more details about El Gouna, Ive lived and kited there a lot.
