I'm sure most of these surfers would treat it as a novelty more than anything. Sorry to say, but if I could be flown around to empty perfect surf breaks whenever I wanted, I don't think I would be kiteboarding as much.
Lets hope so.
I personally feel that the last thing our sport needs is a bunch of tribalist morons cluttering up the beaches, calling each other onto waves and generally acting like they own the place. Mind you I would think like that because I dont own a kite surf company and have a buisness interest in flogging the sport to as many people as possible..........oops did I say Kite Surf? I meant to say Surf Kite.
Fear not the Wilson kitemare, junglist.
Ben's vision of converting every surfer on the planet to the kult of kiting,
will only ever be his personal pipedream.
That's because core surfers hate wind ...and fag gear.
Surfers even despise offshore wind if it's fresh enough.
They like calm conditions.
Glass.
Oil.
