From the Surf Expo 2012:

Feeling like back in the 80's looking at the design. But not the nice way...

I just bought myself a 2012 north nugget and from the looks of things that was a good move...

seems like it hasnt changed at all except they made it uglier?

Just tried their website but it is still last years boards being displayed.
I checked it out because I liked the Nugget but thought it needed the "nose pulled in' with a bit more rocker to be more versatile. So I liked the sound of the Whip X-surf.

Does anyone have more information on these

Just received a 5'11" Pro Series, big thanks to Australian Kiteboarding! Looking forward to unwrapping and testing it out today, I'll add a review when I can

Nugget shape hasn't changed. I have been riding the 2013 for the last 2 months. There are some small construction changes but the shape and rocker remain the same.
Yes the Nugget can catch you out at times but I think this is worth it if you want the light wind performance it has to offer. Otherwise I think the Whip can be beat for versatility for those who want to ride a quad. The X-Surf comes without straps as a cost saving.
