Kiting in Bunbury

I am going to Bunbury for easter , does anyone know if there is a spot u can kite in an easterly? I was thinking maybe the Australind area, the forecast is looking a bit sad.

there snot really any spots to land/launch from at the Australind Esturary in an Easterly... Not that the wind looks promising anyway.
Best take the kiting widow along and spend some quality time

bunbury and surrounds SUCK on any type of easterly (we've tried and failed) unless you want to ride offshore.

Try Dunsborough if n/e or Augusta if s/e

if you can , cruise down to augusta on sat sun or monday its only an hour and a bit from bunno and it rocks in an easterly and the forecast looks awesome for the weekend.

if your really desperate , the only other good spots in bunbury are turkey pt ( not kite friendly lots of rocks and sharp things ) or theres koombana bay but in the SE'lys that are predicted it will be directly offshore any way so theres no point.
