Discovered someone I knew from school has spent the last couple of months travelling the globe and has now written a kitesurfing book called "The kitesurfing diaries - central and south america" so I picked up a copy.
I know a couple of people had been looking at coffee table books although this may or may not fall into that category. Either way, its something slightly different
Its about 170 pages of photos and reviews of different places from central and south america, enough to really make you jealous but it also gave me a good idea of some places that I need to visit in the future. It covers everything from accommodation options, to nightlife and partying. Spent about 50% of my time reading the book being really jealous, and the other 50% scheming ways to try fund some of these trips without my wife suspecting I'm raiding our baby fund.
If you're looking for a travel guide or something to give you ideas for your next travel trip, I'd highly recommend it. Its easy reading and may give some of the youngsters some ideas for some backpacking trips.
