You said he was a "pioneer" and "brought stuff to the sport"..... what?..... I don't remeber him being around in the early days and influencing anyone, or pushing the sport. Where did you get this idea anyway?
Lou was talented but not inventive, he started and lead the whole cross over between wake and kite style tricks. He didn't invent the tricks however.
Shannon Best is actually the reason people do "load and pop" (wakestyle) style tricks, before he could kite he saw the sport had potential and told Lou and the maui crew that instead of sending their kites back in time like a fairy to do tricks they could actually leave the kite in the one spot and load against it...... thus "air" tricks were born.
Not only that but Shannon Best actually invented a few tricks himself in the early days of wakeboarding, one of those tricks being the "S-Bend" (shannon bend).... He later brought that and a number of other tricks to the kite. (also one of the few people to ever do a legit pete rose behind a kite)
And mr unposer also doctored photos to make his kites looks more impressive by photoshopping Best kites into pictures to replace foil kites...you were saying about posing??? Or for producing the biggest kiteboarding poser of a kite in history, the hellfish, which only looked good on a shelf...

as to saffer: jumping off a ship with permission, raileying over a tree, and jumping a piece of land that the company sleazy works for pretty much owns is COMPLETELY different than jumping a building, with people on and around it that the tool doesnt own.
i second the vote for charging damitri for 2nd degree charge of POSING!!
How about jumping a house with permission? You did notice the people inside the house were part of the film crew doing the stunt or did you forget that? And do you know for a fact that slezy actually owns the island? I'm pretty sure he doesn't...
Or does jumping a house only count if you do it unhooked with bindings?
So how exactly is it posing when you're sponsored to do something? When was the last time you were paid to ride?
