It seems the cause of this accident was a water spout / tornado that suddenly "came from no where".
Please please practice your safety features of your gear, especially the quick-release. Don't kite near storms or incoming storms / dark clouds. Take your time checking out the environment around you, your gear and the conditions. Stay safe.
