I agree with everyone.

Rob and Ant aren't the sort of lads who would need to shamelessly post fake names to promote their trip, because to put it simply, it just is THAT good. I lived and kited in Cairns for the last 2 seasons and spent this season in WA. I went up with the lads last year in August on a trip my fiance paid for and we scored 30-35+ for 4 days. Not everyones cup of tea but to see people fully lit up on 5m and the largest kite flown was an overpowered mate on a 9m and the water was still flat as, is an amazing experience. Add in the remoteness, the food, the piss and the personal launcher and lander (cheers robbo) and you have a recipe for a trip like no other. If anyone out there is looking for a kiting adventure warm flat water and strong winds and sunshine, then hit the lads up for a trip. I'm back ASAP.

Cheers

go to lizard island, instead of cape flattery.
there is the same wind, or even more.
and you have the perfect lagoon, beach and reef.

we go to lizard once a month..

check website for info and heaps of photos..

www.intheloopkiteboarding.com

we will be up there next week with ANDY YATES

Hi Ash,

I !

Their playground is at Cape Flattery just north of Cooktown. This site is not accessable to the general public as it is owned by Tribal Aboriginal Elders who consider it sacred land however fortunately for us Australian Kite Surfari have permission to conduct kitesurfing tours here and for me there is no place on earth that will ever come close.

Nikki

This site IS accessable to the the general public!!
There is a camping area run by a traditional owner 10 minutes drive from the spot in the fotos above,he charges $10 p/p p/day
Access to the beach is by 4WD at low tide so check the tides before you go
The Kitesurfari guys have amphibious vehicles with access any tide and have permission to camp on the spot and for a tourist flying into Cairns its a great way to go-the whole trip will be an adventure!
