Hello,

Sorry for my poor english, Iam french and Iam going to your beautiful country in february.

I do a lot of kitesurf in the south of France (Marseille) and I would like to kitesurf all the year in Australia...

I read that Perth could be the best place in Oz, but after march there is not a lot of wind...?

What is the best place to kite between march and october ? I know it is not the best season, but I dont have the choice...

Thanks for your answer :)

The further north you go in Qld the better the wind will get in winter.

Thanks for these advices :)
So the north in Qld seems to be the best place to do kitesurfing in winter...I have to check concerning croco & box jelly fish...

Hi Ancoda

North Queensland is great from late June onwards. No jelly fish this time of year so it's safe kiting. I've kited Port Douglas in July and had wind every day. Water temp around 25 deg C, air temp 25 deg C. Not too many crocs. A company called Australian Kite Safaris runs tours up that way. I hear they're OK.
