2 hour session @ Scarbs easily going upwind, kiteloop backloops ... just enjoying being on the water
8-10 knots not a white cap to be seen
15m FlySurfer Speed2
Spleene Zone board
Finished off watching the sunset with an ice cold beer

Shame there were no waves (too many swimmers anyway) but it was soo glassy and great to cool off Only saw one other foil out - where was everyone?

Heaps of wind forecast this arvo so I guess it will be back to peak hour traffic again

I saw you(a person) out when i was swimming at floreat. There was a guy teaching someone on a bright orannge foil there. But there was a wind line about 100m off the beach, and it looked like that might have reached the shore near scarbro.
I was craving a kite, woulda been mint.

i was down there (going for a run) and no offence but it looked kinda boring, i had a swim afterwards and that was good enough for me.

Kiting in no waves in 8-10knots is pointless, especially when the next week is going to be 25knots.

Great day for the <insert alternate sport> or racking up brownie points with the missus.

Ian - you were going super early- it was hell crowded in the water where you were.

4 of us took out our the stand Up paddle boards, paddled south and got about 30 waist to shoulder high waves at a secret little bank upwind from where you were- insane fun!

reos, 30m rides - it was all happening. The glass off was magic!!

all on a .8 m rotto swell - imagine if it was a mere 1.4 m ..i can see alot of surfing coming up on the hot days!!

Can't be too boring if you can get Kiteloop/backloops in.

BTW, Ian, in a low wind like that how does the 15m loop? Can you get it all the way round while in the air? Or is more of a long slow kiteloop with a jump thrown in?

There must be some serious downwind ZING looping the 15. I tried with a 10 and it ZING'ed hard!
