Today for the second time in a week I had to cut my session short because I lost my board. Both times I found the board on the beach a bit latter on but I would prefer to be riding than searching for my board!

My body dragging is fine, it's my eyes and my blue board that suck.

Has anyone tried fluro paint on their fins or maybe a 3M fluro film on their board? If so does it make any difference?

I guess I could try a Go-Joe, but I am frightened that might make my dick fall off.

I found replacement orange fins helped heaps, also fluo stick on vinyl sheet cut to a patern or shape stuck on deck or bottom was excelent ,buy off ebay.
Ive lost 2 board that were black.

I had the same issue but i've got some bright coloured foot pads on the boards which has made a big difference, and the fins are easy to see against the chop.

Follow where the people pointing and laughing on the beach are aiming (thats not at you) and you will find your board

I have bright orange fins and that helps when the board is upside down,

+1 for bright orange fins
even get a can of cheap paint and paint them orange or yellow
Def beats losing ya board or short sessions!
easy enough to scrape off when you feel you don't need it (like resale time) but helps heaps!!
Bunnings also sells high- vis safety sticker tape designed for vehicles for $12.

Hey kiwi Dave . Ive thought about a off cut from a pool noodle. As something that could be fashioned to help as a bit of a beacon. Maybe with a cable tie . Not sure of the finnished product but 20 mins of experimenting and you could have a cheap and reasonable result. Cheers Jeff

The Goe-Joe is really Good. I used one learning to jump.
It blows the board downwind and you just zigzag drag back to it.
Forget the fashion police - unless your a softc*ck who lets others think for you .
The same people who WONT buy you a new one
