V,
Is this a twin tip that you are talking about?
Also are you using the round white flat 3M base plate about 12 cm wide or are you using the small flat 3M mount (4 x 5 cm) that comes with the Bag of mounts?
Thanks
Ian
Hi Ian,
The board that has worked well is an Underground FLX52, 152 long twin tip. I am also using the small flat 3m mount that came with one of my cameras. I think it is the one that came with the bag of mounts.
I also have the 12cm wide base plate but that is the Surf mount and I put that on my kitesurf board - different set up. As you can see that one also comes with a separate little quater for the line loop a reinforcement for the camera.
The one I was talking about is the normal mount that comes with the cameras. I placed it on the corner of the twin tip, about 3cms from the sides. This allows the cam to be close to the fin screws and to attache the kite line loop there. It is simply a double security just in case the mount comes unstuck from jumping.
If I have time tonight, and remember, I will take a couple of shots of the boards and post a couple of pics as well.
- - - Another mount that works really well is the handle bar mount, attached to the kite bar. Because it is designed to work on a bicycle handlebar it fixes really well on the kitebar. Video from that angle is really cool. Even though it stays in place well I still use the same kite line and loop it on the bar before I attach the camera. If the mount brakes on stacking

,and it does, you don't lose the camera.
I haven't posted any videos because I'm not interested in a feeding frenzy of bad comments because the videos aren't loaded with super-tripple-double-twist-summersault-handlebar passes

. I just enjoy the angles as it gives a very different perpective to what we do.
Perhaps the best GoPro angles and videos around are the ones from NERK. Check them out - good work.
