when i am stuck at the beach with no wind, i usually deflate my tyres, have a another wife beater and continue my journey which is probably to a good fishing or diving spot....

CrazyCrab - you rock !!! Awesome display yesterday !!! That 0.01 made all the difference ! I was amazed you could hold that much power down !!!
Personally it was a chance to plan the 'setup' of the back of the truck...
And hope that the wind would get stronger !!!

sleep under a fully pumped up kite, in the hope that when the wind picks up, the canopy will slap you in the face and wake you up.

With the One pump system? Actually they could be real (mmm... prob not) and the stickers are acting as hollywood tape. Hope ya nips didn't come off with the stickers!?

this geocaching looks kinda fun, in a weird way. although it could be devious to the point where you could lure people to out of the way areas in the bush to Ivan Milat them.

Geocaching is "high tech hide and seek". People have hidden tuppaware containers all over the world. You have the GPS co-ordinates. When you find one you write in the log, take something you like and replace it with something of similar value...

I spent much of my trip with the family through Europe finding caches. It meant we saw lots of places would not normaly see.

and here are some photos of some of those places
www.geocaching.com/profile/Default.aspx?guid=5defa45d-fb1d-432d-b848-52e294ab16e5

Some of the object you find are "trackable". The first one I found was in Hong Kong and it was "Lucky Ducky 4000". www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=263904

It has been married, ridden our horse and travelled 52,944 km...

If it's a little light on, I usually throw in the flippers, snorkel, skimboard, devil sticks, and a kite mag.... then I'm sorted if it craps out!
