Awesome morning down Point Walter yesterday with some great mates

One of them keen as to try the Dreaded "Deadman

" after seeing me do one in front of him....

Later he says he gave it a go - but came crashing down headfirst

I asked if he pulled the stopper right down...

"Err what stopper"

ha yeah Ive tried the deadman a few times, can never seem to get the stopper in far enough...end up getting dunked head first into the drink!!
makes for a good spectacle from the beach

Do a big jump so you are upside down let go of the bar and extend your hands down towards the water.

To really impress your mates and beach followers try the whole trick unhooked

Good to see crew talking about the old school tricks. The edge and boosting and deadman tricks - aaah, so much better.

... ahh, the good old days, I remember 'The Coma' - boosting big, your upside down looking at the water, board touching the lines but one hand on the bar.

Haha,

Choicey was always a fan of the clapping deadman. To clap hands as many times as possible before grabbing the bar again.

... there is a video of a guy doing that, some where. I saw it ages ago, something called like a "bull roarer" or "bulldozer", something something,,,,, can't remember the name but looked cool (damn, the beer has done its magic on my memory, oh well, what ever)!!!
