"kite sailing", "wind sailing" and then people make a wierd motion with their arms to demonstrate your sport. at school kitesurfing seems to be common knowledge even though there are 4 of us in a 1200person school happy kitesailing
I get windsurfer from a lot of people. I don't even bother correcting them any more. "Yes I am going windsurfing with a kite...." , even then they don't catch on.
