Kicker looks like it needed to be facing more upwind.

nah the problem was the direction of the sandbank, it wasnt running as parrallel to the wind as previously so the kicker was set more downwind which as you can see wasnt working to well.

Just watching all the tricks and stuff, I know it was hard conditions but I reckon a best trick type format next year would be good either seperately or just emphasised more in heats. Then you get people actually hucking into the moves and making them look cool rather than just trying to land it.
