Noice.

Is that some 'pin' style effect or just a mega wide angle?

Colours are hyper-melt down but cool. Photoshoppe?

I'm curious as to whether anyone bothers with polarising filters anymore if it's just easier to apply in PS these days?

@ Funky, all you have to do is turn up the saturation and mess with the other effects these days... In my honest opinion I think to many people are over-saturating photo's. I see tons of photos in magazines wrecked by over-saturation (among other things).

Nice photos by the way Colesy, I like how you got the sun in the frame, often hard to do.

Ta Rowdy. I really must get with the program. Have 58mm UV and PL lenses from old analogue days but there's no going back if you use a PL compared to editing it later filter I guess.

Know what you mean about hyper colours. Kinda like above though all the same. Ditto on the sunsets.

Just got a Lumix waterproof and in it's standard setting is definately a bit hyper. I spose it's what the buyers want. Also picked up a Fuji superzoom and that is understated (natural) in colours so that after the Lumix the Fujimama appears unimpressive.

EDIT:

Colesy - was it tricky photoshopping out the grogun the guy on the slider let go?

yer mate all i used was a 10-22mm wide angle lense, i do my editing in adobe lightroom 3 and a tad in photoshop elements 7

as for filters, yer well it really comes down to what you want out of the photo really, i dont use fillters for sports and kitesurfing, only for landscape shots, mainly a gnd fillter and a nd8,

ass soon as i sort my laptop out ill upload the good copys which are heaps better qulity.

kiting kid - hahah yer it made for a good rain coat lol

and cheers rowdy!
