Hi dgrace,

It depends on the nature of the damage, can you post piccies? Could be really cheap, as little as $20 or up to $100. Is it just the Leading edge bladder or the leading edge casing itself too?

Cheers,

This kite came in yesterday, it had been eaten by oyster covered rocks in Botany bay. The bladder was simple to repair with Tear Aid, we did not have to even remove the bladder as it had a very convenient extra large hole in it. When it comes back from the repairer it will be barely visible, and the total cost of the repair will be approx $120, almost anything is fixable and we rarely buy or replace bladders, Tear Aid will fix any size hole in a bladder.

Large, jagged 25cm long burst from oyster cuts

Leading edge blow out from oyster cuts kite at full pressure.

Its hard to see, but the huge 25cm long jagged hole is sealed and is stronger than the original bladder, guaranteed for the life of the kite.

Rowdy be a bit more sensitive.

Maybe he is from a small town in Europe and doesnt have a Medicare Card.

Maybe he sliced it up when he fell off the small boat he came here on from Afghanistan, off the rocks at Christmas Island. Kiters can be so racist.

I personally find band aids (not as in that singing group from the 80's) can help with most kiting accidents.
