Don't know who it was, saw the helicopter and the rescue boat from Hillarys heading towards Trigg.

Channel 9 were down at Brighton so there may be something on their news tonight.

Looking at the report it seems whoever it was is OK. I hope they called the water police to report they were OK, otherwise we will have more bad press

Not sure that is accurate.

I spoke to the guys on the rescue boat and there was a report of a kitesurfer out the reefs, but no missing rider.

I think it may have been a beach goer making a call to rescue and then not watching if the person came in or not.

The helicopter did come on a fly past so someone did call them up.
