What ever it is we may never know but as there has been 5 fatalities in W.A. in the past twelve months and there has been 97 car fatalities in W.A alone this year,so do you worry about getting in your car I think not..
If you divide the number of people in the water each morning over a year by 5, and then divide the number of people who drove in that year by 97, im sure the odds are by far against being in the water this year.
Ive seen a shark in the water while surfing at Gnaraloo and down in Yallingup but never kiting. Im hoping when you kite you see them from much further away so you have time to cain it back to shore, instead of freezing up and nervously trembling like i did.
I'm not sure about this logic but Im glad im going to get my surf hours up in Indo next month rather than the usual coast north of Perth.
Not a good season to be a body dragging noob in the ocean! Maybe we should all start wearing scuba knifes, if that would help at all?
