Interesting... not the conclusion I would have reached. SST is a good wave kite. It is only going to be an okay foil.
I found it too heavy in light wind.

Might try a few other kites... There's heaps of fast kites suitable for foiling. Good luck!

The Reo is pretty damn handy as a foil kite. That is, if you want a wave kite that does both.
