I would recommend a big Naish foil, the Moses 633 or Liquid Force Impulse over the big SS foils. This is based on personal experience and those of friends whose judgement I trust. I have no financial conflict of interest.

Have you watched the Huston kiteboarding you tube vid about the slingshot wings?
Good info on which on to choose and why.

Surf small waves with the added benefit of easier jibing.
I have Zeeko Carver (710 cm2) and carbon race foils and love them all.
Guys in my local are jibing easily on Naish SUP foils and it is pushing me to add this type of foil to my quiver. I have demoed and it is much easier on these foils.

Yup. As I said, I had an Axis 720mm wide prototype SUP wing in NZ for six weeks, and had a play for a week on a 920 too.

In the photo are the production wings, with the tech specs on the wing tips. Assuming it scales about the same, the 720 would be 1200cm2 and the 620 must have been no more than 1000.

720 was the sweet spot for me. After not foiling for 6 months, I got back to making 100% of foot changes almost instantly. The couple of sessions I had on the kite foil before I got the SUP, I couldn't make a single one :D The 620 was basically a 720 with clipped tips, so lower AR. I didn't like it -- preferred the additional stability of the wider foil.

I had a HG too. The Axis is more "fun" and much lighter . . . can't imagine how much the H4 would weigh if they've used the same construction method.

In other words, try wings with different AR and see what you like. If you can.

Hi, I've been prone surfing on the H4 and kiting on it too. For its size it has a pretty good top end speed under kite

I bought it because it's kind of designed to bash the bottom a bit, had i bought the naish i would have broken the stabiliser many times over

Yes, different fuselage and stabiliser for Moses 633 wing, the same mast can be used.

Honestly, it's really fun. But prone is limited to probably 2ft max on the take off. A perfect wave is the worst most gutless wave you can imagine.

You could tow in on bigger waves or sup in because they can foil before the wave breaks.

I have absolutely no doubt that which ever foil people buy this year will completely obsolete in 2 years time.

So prone you're gunna be in shallow water and for me over reef, so that's the reason i got the h4
