What is the story with all of the DNFs? Was it light wind?

conditions today again all over the place. very challenging.

people out on 9-13m kites all day

race 7 winds average was 3-7knts. Most people on 17-19m kites. However, only Florian completed the race on his 13m EDGE!

i got tangled at startline of that race and watched most of it from the beach. I could not believe how he did it..

the conditions here have been very bad. Gusty, Shifty, current, seaweed and mostly super light winds.. A bit of a repeat from last years Sail Melbourne.

Looks promising for medal races on Sunday. Hot 25knts Northerly.
