What do yas reckon???
Also i ride boots and its a carbon board apparently
Looking for cheap and dodgey way to fix my first instinct is to just jam a packer in under neath it all smother it all in superglue or resin then weight the **** out of it then have a nightmare of a time prying out the packer or make it small so its loss form anf never comes out or cardboard or something thatll deteriate

Maybe just put a bit of surfboard repair glass cloth down aswell for emotional support ?

Ofcourse my ****n resin had hardened cause i fixed some random chickies surfboard in a carpark 8 months ag

Bita vinegar for the corrosion

Heres my next doozy of a problem..... boots cost a bloody fortune i simply cant afford them so im thinking of cutting up a masonite suitcase? Rougly into same shape as thr silicone heal sections and then useing one those manual EASY STITCH needle things sailmakers use if theyre experienceing a blackout or whatever anyone have any expeience with those? Could i punch thru all the layers with one etc or shoud i maybe just impregnate some sorta foamy cloth with silicone and smear it all over the missing crcked heel section then sew cloth over the whole lot ?? Im not much of a cobbler afraid

Dude
nothing sticks to the plastic crap they laminate on, it is all in a heat n pressure mould. Twinnies are very hard to do anything with. Don't know that your laminate would have stuck.
give it a pull and see. The laminate.
boots? Good load of sikaflex after a rough stitch up

Yeah mostly just wa?ted to jam some resin in underneath it wasnt gonna use a glass patch at all but figured **** it why not

Ill try razorblade the lifting edges of patch then smother the whole lot in silicone its going to all be covered by a big busted ass boot anyways just want to get a few more sessions out of it

The big circular bit is from me getting a chair and puttibg the leg on it then having an agressive sit to try pop the cracked wood back down into place

Might have to find some sort of wake boot forum to hassle

What you reckon of the speedystitcher tho considering i live in a van and my sewing machines a ****ty little one im thinking speedy stitcher maybe more handy for kites and sailing gear on the fly ive never uded one so little dubious if the needles snap etc im ****ed

When you are capable to built a house out of rock and wood with your bare hands, maybe then get back to us with these worthless hacks on how to fix your broken old shoes.

I'm sorry FG, but I just don't you see you as made of council material.

The board and boots are junk.
Just thru-bolt the boots to the board and go ride it.
It's a twin tip for Gods sake.

house chippys are useless mate
never claimed to be a residential muppet who cant figure out which way a nailbag goes not that those primadonnas even use a hammer.
i built every commercial project in north queensland since the 80s was always my far fetched claim from gladstone to the very top tip
basically every shopping center prison airport hospitals watger treatment plant resort highrise airforce base train stations refinerys pretty much anything that required more then 50 blokes and a crane or 2 there was simply no other sub contractor big enough for the job then me old mans one which me and my brothers got roped into being in from before we started going to school.

ill never forget my first pour it was some little footpaths for eden park and there was a lipsyncing competition my sister did there she would have been like 8 i was 4 years old hammering pickets in for this stupid footpath anyways we pour it its done strip it next day which was a sunday little community job whilst we were building the islands.

anyways the ride operator rocks up for this little party with some those rocket ships that spin around and his rides were so heavy he drove over this foot path wed just poured the week before and cracked it all and it broke the path.

i was so angry i stole a icecream from the fridge of the park. im not sure if it was coincidence or my mate ratted me out even tho it was his idea but few days after the festival thing were having family dinner at home and a question is asked to all of us if we had ever stolen anything i excitedly said that i had put my hand up they all said i was lieing and im like nope me and old mate took an icecream at the festival and ran off

anyways next morning im back at that wildlife park with 2 dollers to give the lady at the counter and to apoligise she said that i should have plenty of money left over still from all the work i did forming and pouring theyre footpaths and it never quite occured to me what she ment by that

but i think she knew i wasnt paid for all that work. and was kinda like sticking one to the old man for not giving me any money so i could just buy the icecream considering i spent a whole weekend working for him.

i continued working on construction sites kinda have to when you live on site. and never got any pocket money or anything even remotely resembling the form of legal tender until i was 24. where i was the lowest paid guy on site at $38 a hour which was 13$ a hour more then what i was getting as a network engineer for telstra

never did steal a single thing ever again from a shop.

if i was you MyScreenName i would avoid using any of the large buildings north of gladstone the ****ing dodgey fix ups ive done to those is amazing half one the rear columns on the rocky hospital is literally floating i just jammed a bit of plywood under it and mudded up the sides with a bit of HB40 to give the illusion the column goes all the way to the slab. been waiting to see cancer ward in chaos as building gets a wonky leg and falls over. in the headlines for years.
