i posted this in the kite surfing forum and got a few responses but thought ill post it in here and see if i can get a few more ideas

anyway i broke my nacicular bone in my foot 2 weeks ago, well actaully i shattered it as the CT scans showed me today, and id like some ideas of things to do for the next 4 weeks as im on crutches

so far seabreeze, surfing the net in general and playing wii games like mario kart and guitar hero have passed the last few weeks but any ideas/challenges would be great to help the time pass would be appreciated

a guy went to his doctor and said "my dick is turning yellow" and the doctor asked if there was any reason he could think of that this would happen and the guy replied "no".
the doctor then asked what he did for work and the reply was "doc, i recently broke my leg, i just sit at home,eat cheezels and watch porn!"

Choose one. 4 weeks will probably do it.

Learn how to play guitar, (or mouth organ etc ) Free lessons on you tube.

Organise the local kids into a treasure hunt. ( write rhymed clues leading from one locale to the next with a bag of goodies at the end)

Learn a language other than english. (the basics)

Train your dog to open fridge and bring beer by using snacks for rewards. He will love it and so will you. (lessons on you tube)

Read a story to a sick kid in hospital. (no,I'm not kidding)

Catch up with the thing you always wished you had time for. Read that book, watch that movie, write that letter, catch up with an old friend, think about helping that cause, paint that picture. Learn how to fix something. (motor, fridge, (after dog has wrecked it) plumbing, electrics.

Or you could go the yellow dick route,

Apart from putting on a little weight, you look happy to me
