hay all
been franticly trying to figure out what its going to cost me and who with to send a kiteboard with a kite strapped to middle of it overseas either to nz or asia
i tried searching the forum and for somereason couldnt find anything. surely this has come up a hundred times.
all the companys ive tried get quotes off ( dhl,ups,toll) are giving me bloody quotes of around 750$ to send a board and bag as 1 parcel to queenstown.
whats going on it cant be that much can it?!?! australia post only wanted $250 but wouldnt even look at it cause bards longer then 105cm
so what do i do !?!? anyways really hopeing someone here can point me in the right direction.
im hopeing to have the equipment sent to me in 4 or so months time and im unsure where ill be then.
extra bags only $55 on plane but dont want to lug around another board and bag with me for 4 months i dont even think i could fit in a bloody cab with that much **** allready got paragliders and skis still to come and snowboards
Called TOLL explained exactly what it was just a kiteboard with a bag strapped in middle of it and even there best cheapest option was $570!!
how can it be cheaper for me to buy a kitebag for $200 put this **** in it then take it on plane with me for $55 as an extra bag....
