Whats more concerning is the need for sunscreen and pineoclean next to his pillow

Geez I thought I was retentive but ^^^^ you chaps need to get out a bit more!!

Suncream, Pine-o-clean and dunny paper really does make for an interesting night behind the lappy though!!

I must say the whole thread was a bit of a deflator after the heading though..

Richie lives on a boat doesn't he, so he can be forgiven for an untidy bedroom - or whatever those spaces under the top deck are called.

Sure, she's not great on fuel, but still more economical than my other boat.

- I'm thinking of putting "cut-outs" in the tail to reduce drag and get the nose to ride a little lower.

if you move the superstructure forward you'll get the nose down a bit, thus getting it on the plane faster.

Superstructure forward heh.......I'll take that on board (pardon pun)

Do you like my rigging up area???
Launching can be a problem, though.

Seriously though, my cousin Alisdair lived on a his boat near RedCliffe, QLD. We sailed out to Tangalooma and I enjoyed some fun windsurfing up that way.
He had a cool lifestyle, but I don't reckon I could have done it on a permanent basis. Hat's off to you yachties, Richie.
here's some pics

"Whiskey Galore" anchored off tangalooma 2003

New skipper (my daughter), Al in the hat (looking worried), my version of "Smooch" with our son on her lap.
Good days, great place.

looks like a nice yacht. Tangalooma s beautiful in the right conditions, 0-15 knots nth east to south east, more wind or any west and its terrible ! The current puts you beam on to incoming swell, yuk ! Snorkling the wrecks is great.(and having a beer at the resort). takes me about 3 1/2 hrs to get there with tide, from manly.

Headsail looks bad in this shot(needed more halyard tension)
