Yes, you would be mad to discount 400 years of proven science based on one crackpot web site. To pick one example of millions: to figure out how to fire the rockets to land on the right spot on the moon it took Buzz Aldrin
2 years to write out the mathematical formula (filling many many blackboards) and to solve it. He did nothing else for 2 years before that trip, and he got it spot on. Science. Wins.
2nd. To add to jaybee, (another example of millions) heavy artillery has to compensate for the earth's spin. When they came up with guns that would fire 15kms or more, they started missing - always in the same direction when fired in one direction. Eventually figured the earth was turning under the projectile. Now they calculate for it, and don't miss.
