Probably the worst rental 'car' I could think of.

Can only carry one person
Cant take any luggage
Have to wear a helmet
Get wet if it rains
Down right dangerous

What are you on about?

Rear wheel drive,. low to the ground,.. I bet it does wicked donuts.

And such nice new tyres too, they definitely need burning in.

I can just imagine it! Flying down the road in the rain with cars either side of you, traffic lights change to red and that big truck in front of you jams on his anchors and shudders to a stop whilst your little light vehcle slides and jams under his dif. SPLAT!

Actually with lighter weight than a car an the same amount of rubber touching the ground, it should stop faster than cars, which already stop faster than trucks and motorbikes, due to cars' higher rubber to weight ratio.

good fun but i would think that if it was next to even a car you wouldnt see it ( to low ) but a fast trip up a mountain road would be priceless.

Looks like it's Austrian.

Hey,..Austrian,.. that's nearly the same as Australian,.. maybe we could give it a try.

{cut/paste} from the website,..

New in Vienna !
KART driving on the largest karting track in the world

the public road network.

We offer you the unique experience of driving a KART through the city and all perfectly legal -
all you need is a driving license (car or motorcycle).

You like action?
Whether Open Air Seightseeing or just for fun,
ride with your friends wherever you want,
instead of constantly driving in circles on an old school karting track.

Our 13.6 hp and 55 mph fast KARTS
provide you racing feeling and pure driving pleasure!

KARTFUN in the fresh air and
for a better price than in the karting hall!

never mind the danger of being invisible to cars next to you can you imagine how sore your arse would be after hitting a few potholes

These things sell for the equivalent of roughly $5500.00 [on the road] in Austria.

Street legal to the EU transport regulations......so........technically........since our ADR's closely follow the EU reg's, they just might be legal here too!

I think big brother would be quick to spoil the fun though.

mind you - I have seen dodgy looking 3 wheel 2 seat scooter crawling around Freo in the past [that needed trainer wheels to stop the tipping over]

If these 50cc trikes are street legal in W.A., I reckon these karts could be too.
