I'd be keen to see proof of this claim...
Try google they had a special sail that they actually stood inside with the boom like a giant luff pocket &apparently they can get 4 times the speed of the wind with it &that was the record as far as I can remember.im sure some tech head could find & post a link

Yeah I saw some of the ice sailing info, though even with ice sailing, they have not achieved speeds like that since the introduction of GPS.
