Take off from a runway would be impressive.
If they lay on a skateboard like trolley on their stomach, would they achieve enough speed to be able to leave the ground?

I once watched a float plane being launched from a trailer. So yes, while riding one of these belly down on a skateboard would take some real kahuna's, it's possible.
