Yeah had a look at website too but they're very guarded over the actual wave generating technology.

Drop a really big one into Boggy Lake [wave machine that is]

Whatever they are using is really effective, what a cool idea. I have seen the one at Sun City in South Africa which is pretty effective but it has a huge amount of engineering to create the waves whereas this appears to have very little infrastructure.

Of course the council would have a fit seeing people slip on black plastic but just goes to show what you can do without having to spend millions.

Be interesting to see how they do it.

There is a wave pool in Darwin [away from the things that sting and bite] and I also believe there is one in Melbourne at a sports and aquatic centre.

Or how about this?

It can go upto 1.6mts bud.... but if thats not hardcore enough for you then get outta the way so i can surf awesome waves all day.
