So the centre console box thing in these old Hiaces is rubbish. It incorporates drink holder into the lid. Flip the lid = coke zero all over the cabin. To fix this shocking design fault I lashed this together:
Note also the gear lever extension and custom gear knob (found at bunnings).
A bit of marine carpet over the console/drink holder would finish it off .... Coming along nicely

Easy fixed... Get the jumbo RedBull cans, or just glue in some foam or timber doughnuts to hold the small cans... Personally, I would by-pass RedBull, and chase down someone like Coopers!
