For the MX Freestyle lovers

Triple Eight Race Engineering has masterminded a revolutionary motocross bike in collaboration with action sports innovators, Unit.

The Skycraft is the world???s first purpose-built freestyle motocross bike with a weight of just 75kg making it 25 per cent lighter than a standard machine.

Ludo Lacroix, the Brisbane V8 Supercar team???s Technical Director, led a team who engineered the Skycraft in a project which took 30 months following a concept led by Unit co-founder Ian Everest.

???Ian knew that they wanted a light bike but we didn???t have an idea if it was going to be carbon,??? Lacroix said.

???It???s the manufacturing that is the very difficult bit because it can be tricky but it???s all been very interesting.???

Skycraft uses a heavy duty carbon fibre monocoque frame containing a fuel cell while the tail design has integrated grab handles and a forked seat.

Design boundaries have been pushed all the way with the Skycraft where the silencer is integrated inside a carbon fibre swingarm.

The Skycraft has been unveiled at the American International Motorcycle Expo in Florida.

Yes, normally the sign of a d!ckhead, how appropriate having "Unit" written across your shirt (cap, car window etc).

But saving grace is that it does not have the Monster Energy logo all over it like everything else these days.....

And here I was thinking this thread was going to be all about a United Nations group looking for UFO's and the associated conspiracy.

Talk about being ripped off....
