What did I miss?
What did he do?
You missed nothing.
He did nothing.
He didn't spend 4 years at university, 6 years in training, then 30 years as a nurse working long shifts for not much pay to ease the suffering of sick people
He didn't become a primary school teacher and go work in a deprived area and spend all his waking life trying to instill enthusiasum into children to lift them out of poverty.
He didn't volunteer for overseas aid work in a third world country.
He is named as the director of a bunch of nerds who set up a web site on which people can anomolously post stuff that other people then believe is 100% true because it is on his web site and because it is the opposite of what they read elsewhere.
Quite interestingly some strange stuff happened recently which Wikileaks said was due to 'funding shortages'. If you delve deeper there seems to be some strange PR and spin designed to canvas public support, whip up funds and discredit people who don't fund Wikileaks.
I say quite interesting as no leaked e-mails from one Wikileaks director to another director talking about how they could spin up some PR have ever appeared on Wikileaks.
In fact the inner workings of Wikileaks is a bigger secret to the world than the inner workings of the US military. Which I find ironic, I am sure others find to be necessary to protect against attack.
Seems that some secrets are best kept as secrets - which is something both Wikileaks and the US military agree on, so end of the day - he did nothing.
