Unique that this craft was designed to enter Venus, a planet similar in size to Earth, but an order of magnitude greater in atmospheric pressure.

Lost contact over Germany. This area was looking to be the perigee last time I looked about 2pm today.

FYI, this is a pretty cool to watch controlled re-entry (Orion). This mission appears to be using a technique called feathering:
